Hey,
Calling out to all UAE users,
I constantly have problems with connecting to NG's frontpage, it is laggy, and never loads, I use a VPN to visit the frontpage. Weirdly enough, I can still access profiles and users' pages, but anything else does not work. This issue is what makes me go inactive and never post any of my art.
Are there any solutions to this? VPN does not always work, so I cannot rely on it all the time.
I'm not an expert, but 'if' you have that issue on some other sites as well that sounds like you should talk to your internet provider about the issue.
On that note: Talk to others in your area (people you meet in daily life) about if they are experiencing similar issues and what internet providers they are using. Maybe it's time for a change...

Using hotspot or connecting in different places like malls doesn’t help it

but yeah, no-no sites are banned, and that is a normal thing, it has always been like that.
but when u visit a site that is banned, it doesnt lag or refuse to load like NG, instead, you are redirected to this (link below is screenshot of me attempting to visit a banned site)
My apologies. It is hard for me to judge how exactly internet filters function - or look for the regular internet users.

The last two things I could think of would be that the other sites you visited create less traffic than Newgrounds' frontpage 'or' that there is an issue with your browser or its AddOns that creates conflicts. But since using a VPN fixes the problem, your internet provider seems like a much more likely cause...
so how do i fix?
Talk to your internet provider about the issue, like I suggested above. You're paying them for a service, after all.
Even if they aren't the cause 'intentionally', they can measure the cables and do some other things to see if there's a connection issue.
But if they ask, you should probably describe Newgrounds as "a site for games" rather than "an LGBTQIA+ friendly community of artists"...

Being from the United Arab Emirates (or anywhere else) 'should' make no difference when you're using VPN-services. (As an aside I'm using a VPN service, and NG runs "normal" for me.)
What solutions have you tried so far?

Using a VPN *INSTANTLY* fixed the problem, but like I said, I cannot always use a VPN, especially since it is blocked in the UAE most of the time, it is a miracle that it works sometimes
